How it works

From request to porch

A request is not an accepted order. Allyson reviews each one first.

01Before the published cutoff

Request your bakes

Add bakes to your bag and send a pickup request. Nothing is charged or confirmed yet.

02By email

Wait for acceptance

The bakery checks oven capacity and availability, then accepts or declines your request.

03Only after acceptance

Get the address and notes

After acceptance you receive the exact porch address and arrival notes.

04shared after your request is accepted

Collect your bag

Pick up your named bag from the porch during your confirmed window.

Freshness standard

Oven to porch cooler

Cooled 45 mins before packaging so steam preserves texture and crispness.

What to bring

  • Your request reference, from the request receipt.
  • A sturdy tote or basket with a flat bottom, so your baked goods stay intact.
  • A waterproof tote on rainy mornings.

Handling and storage

  • Store breads cut-side down on a board or in a linen bag for the first 48 hours.
  • Keep cookies and soft pastries in airtight containers once cooled.
  • Avoid plastic bags for crusty breads, which soften the crust.
  • Freeze extras the day you collect them, then reheat or toast from frozen.

Where is the porch?

After acceptance

The exact residential address is shared only after the bakery accepts your request.

  • Arrive quietly and keep engines off while you wait.
  • Park on public curbside spaces only and leave driveways clear.
  • Take only the bag with your name and close the porch box lid.

Running late or missing pickup
